Description
The frogDisplay is a compact operating interface - purist, flat and in a white glass design. At 81 x 81 mm, the frogDisplay is only the size of a light switch/button. All functions and scenarios of intelligent living (including heating control) can be controlled using the touchscreen.
It communicates directly with the frogs or other components of our system via the frogblue Bluetooth® mesh network using the Bluetooth®-LE (Low Energy) standard. The frogDisplay offers phone functionality and Onvif (Open Network Video Interface Forum) camera integration. This means that the frogDisplay can also be used as an alarm system in addition to the system control.
Like a "smartphone on the wall", the frogDisplay enables visualization, access control, intercom and video display. Via its WLAN connection, e.g. to the FritzBox™, it offers secure remote access to the frogblue HomeApp while on the move. It acts like a SIP phone and uses the Fritzbox as a telephony station, for example, to trigger a phone call directly when certain events occur or to send camera images to the display. Communication also works the other way round: a call to the frogDisplay can be used, for example, to open the door, switch on the light or arm/disarm the alarm system.
