Description
Der frogLink ist unser SDK (Software Development Kit).
The frogLink brings the frogblue Bluetooth network to the PC at high speed or serves as a gateway to other systems, such as MOBOTIX™ cameras.
Communication takes place in plain text with the names used in the frogblue project. Access can be restricted using filter functions.
Further functions for querying messages and room topology, which are provided by frogLink, are available.
This makes it easy to implement customer-specific user interfaces for PCs or tablets. The frogLink is also used to establish a connection to voice assistants such as Alexa etc.
The frogLink offers two different operating modes:
- mode frogblue : utilisation de frogLink comme interface de communication Bluetooth® pour la configuration et l’utilisation avec un ordinateur Windows
- Mode texte : utilisez-le comme passerelle de texte série (ASCII ou JSON) pour l'intégration de frogblue avec d’autres systèmes

This device is a product of the frogblue system. Detailed technical knowledge through frogblue training is assumed. The function of the device is software dependent. Detailed information about software versions and the respective functional range can be found on the frogblue website. Technical descriptions, further detailed instructions as well as hints for proper disposal are contained in the manual, which is provided on the website of frogblue website.
To use it as a programming interface, the operating mode of the frogLink must be changed to "frogblue mode" using frogblueProject for Windows.
